PHASE 1
SITE PLANNING & DESIGN
Timeline: 3-6 Months
Phase 1 of EV charging station installation starts with site project design, budget, selection and preparation. Phase 1 can take 3 - 6 months to assess existing electrical infrastructure, parking availability, and other factors that may impact the electric vehicle charging station installation process. In some cases, electrical work or construction will need to be done to have the necessary grid access at the charging station site.
PHASE 2
PERMITTS & APPROVALS
Timeline: Weeks to Months
Phase 2 involves obtaining the necessary permits and approvals from local authorities to ensure compliance. This phase can take from a few weeks to several months, depending on the complexity of the project and the jurisdiction in which you’re installing an EV charging station. EVA takes on and manages every step of Phase 2 to ensure that the charging station complies with local regulations and safety standards.
PHASE 3
EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT
Timeline: 6 weeks - 3 months
Phase 3 focuses on the selection and procurement of the right EV charging equipment. There are three levels of EV charging, but EVA specializes in:

Level 2: Residential, commercial (retail spaces, multi-family complexes, public parking lots); can be used by individual homeowners if a 240V outlet is installed

Level 3: Commercial (for heavy-duty EVs and most passenger EVs )
Based on your unique project needs, EVA will identify and procure the proper EV charging equipment.
PHASE 4
INSTALLATION, TESTING & LAUNCH
Timeline: 1- 12 weeks
Phase 4 is where EVA stands out from the competition. EVA brings highly-skilled, professional EV charging station team to ensure that instillation meets all electrical and safety requirements, and functions properly. We pride ourselves on quality installation on a fast timeline; but the exact timeline for your project will vary depending on project scope and scale. Once the station is installed and all systems are tested the EV charging station is ready to launch for commercial use. Launch support includes education on use for on-site staff and users.
PHASE 5
MAINTENANCE
Timeline: 2 - 5 year plans available
The final phase involves maintaining and servicing your EV charging stations regularly. Parters can sign up for 2 - 5 year service plans to ensure the charging station remains in good working condition and is available to users when they need it. Packages include regular inspections and information on updates and new products as they hit the market.
